What to Expect in a Session

Stepping into a Reiki session is like embarking on a journey towards tranquility and equilibrium. Clients will receive treatment in our reiki room on a comfortable massage table with soothing music playing in the background. Caitlin often utilizes additional tools such as singing bowls, crystals and frequency imprinting to elevate the experience. As you ease into the session, your practitioner will place her hands lightly on or over specific areas of your head, limbs, and torso using different hand shapes, for between 2 and 5 minutes per area. If clients have experienced an injury or an area of chronic pain, we may focus more in those specific areas.

To prepare for a Reiki session, it’s best to wear comfortable clothing and to approach the session with an open and receptive mindset. During the session, you might experience a range of sensations such as heat, coolness, pulsing, or tingling from the practitioner's hands. It is not uncommon to fall into a deep state of relaxation or even drift off to sleep.
